The staff offer the best customer service and expertise in getting you into the right running or walking shoe. Even when something isn’t in stock, they will be able to send the appropriate shoe to your house!

I had the best experience at the Running Room a few days ago. I was recommended to upgrade my walking / running shoes by my foot guru (the fabulous Dr Cowen) and I had the best advice in picking the right shoes. I have taken them for a walk a few times and they are perfect! Thank you so much for the great guidance!

There is not much selection of shoes for a large store called The Running Room, there are many shoes listed on the website but a small corner of the store is for shoes. It's more like an accessory store.

I had never been in a Running Room before this but I figured they would be able to help me out because my current running shoes at the time were killing my ankles and knees, and I was right. I met Ed, he’s a force of nature and an encyclopedia of running gear with over 20 years of experience. He had me walk back and forth in my sox while he studied my feet and gait and told me I had mildly flat feet with over probation. He then proceeded to recommend shoes and tell me the ones I had currently were closer to slippers than running shoes. lol, I love honest people. Anyways, after trying on about 8 pairs and doing multiple laps of the shop I settled on a pair of Asics Gel-Kayano. I think it’s probably the most I’ve spent on running shoes but it fixed my ankle and knee problems and even increased my endurance so it was definitely money well spent. I highly recommend this shop, especially this location, and Ed. I even had an issue where they were rubbing a bit so I called them and spoke to Ed and he advised me on how to tie them differently which fixed the problem. That was at least a month or two ago now and I could not be happier with my purchase. My experience at this Running Room and with Ed really make a case for how you need to explore the brick and mortar businesses around you and how certain things, like running shoes, just can’t be bought online.

Staff was great and they were one of the few stores with garmins new watch in stock.

Just left the store, had a great experience. I'm by no means a decorated runner, very much an amateur. The staff at the store were still very helpful and understanding. I was helped by a rep for the Altra brand, I forgot to ask his name. But he was knowledgeable and explained everything so I could understand. He had no issues pulling several shoes off the shelves until I found one I liked, and tailored his choices to my foot type (flat) and experience level (low). I ended up grabbing a pair of hokas that felt good on my feet and looked good. Thanks for the help with the new shoes!

The customer service at this location is EXEMPLARY!!! I had purchased a pair of Hoka Bondi sneakers from the Rosedale Running Room, and after a few wears realized that they were brutal to my feet. Emailed the store to see if I could exchange for a different brand, fully expecting them to tell me to go fish since I had worn them outside and was past the 30-day return window. To my surprise and delight, the staff was fully accommodating - I was able to bring in the Hokas and exchanged them for a pair of Brooks that had been set aside in my correct size AND in a fantastic colour that I hadn't asked for but was exactly what I wanted! If you need a pair of shoes, don't buy online - pay this location a visit as they truly care about their customers!
